Is it the same as a private tutor? No. Tutoring works on the subject; specialist learning support works on how your child reads, writes, does maths, pays attention and gets organised, so that what they learn at school sticks. That's why there's a plan, parent meetings and reports.
How many sessions are needed? Do you sell session packs? We don't sell packs or bundles of sessions, and we won't tell you from the outset ‘this will take 10 sessions’. With a child who finds it hard to pay attention, motivation and consistency are exactly what needs working on: they forget the steps, things have to be explained many times, and that's part of the work, not a failure. That's why we set a goal in writing, go step by step and review with you every term where we are. It lasts as long as it needs to, and you decide month by month.
Why does the same service appear under several names?Because you talk to each age differently. Specialist learning support (reeducación pedagógica) is the technical name and the one on the paperwork; early learning, learning support, study skills or academic preparation is how we explain it to your child depending on their stage, so they experience it as something that helps them rather than as a label. It's the same plan, the same team and the same supervision.
Do I have to be at home during the session?Yes, an adult must always be there. They don't need to be in the room.
Do you diagnose dyslexia or ADHD?No: that's a healthcare matter and it's done by a health psychologist or a paediatric neurologist. If we see signs, we'll tell you and point you in the right direction; once there's a diagnosis, we work from it.
Do you use artificial intelligence with my child?A person works with your child, and that person makes the decisions. The artificial intelligence is used by the learning specialist, not by the child: it helps them record what happens in each session, compare it with previous ones and prepare the reports, which they review and sign. It doesn't diagnose or make decisions. Recording the session is optional and only with your written permission. We explain it all under Progress tracking.
Is there a minimum commitment? No. You pay month by month and can stop with 15 days' notice. If you sign up remotely, you have 14 days to withdraw.
Do you talk to the school?Yes, if you give us permission: we share the plan with the class teacher and coordinate with the school's guidance team.
